TiE YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS -
TYE HIGH SCHOOL
Working Towards a Brighter Future
At TiE, we believe that our Youth are talented, risk takers by nature and we’re here to empower them with the skills and tools to build a startup. Post the TYE Program, our high schoolers are self assured and confident in their abilities to create and innovate.
WHO WE ARE
TYE is a program to inspire, challenge and empower high school students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. The program culminates with a global competition and is run in over 23 cities around the world.
TYE Global recommends a Course Curriculum that spans the 9 months, from September to April of the next year. The Curriculum incorporates both theory and practical aspects of learning about entrepreneurship. It culminates with an International Startup Competition at the end of the school year, in June.
LEAN CANVAS CONCEPTS
The lean canvas model is a business model template that allows you to organize your business plan in a logical way. Typically used for startups, the lean canvas business model has 9 building blocks: Unique Value Proposition, Unfair advantage, Channels, Customer Segmentation, Problem, Solution, Key Metrics, Cost Structure, and Revenue Streams.
Design Thinking is a design methodology that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It’s extremely useful in tackling complex problems that are ill-defined or unknown, by understanding the human needs involved, by re-framing the problem in human-centric ways, by creating many ideas in brainstorming sessions, and by adopting a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing.
At TYE Global, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Food Donation Drop-Off is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
“It’ an incredible program. I sure wish that I was a part of such a program when I was in high school.. if I had been – it wouldn’t have taken me 11 years after college to start my first company.”
