TiE Women’s Project – AIRSWEEE
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
US and India Mentors with women business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, on Feb 21, 2017 in Warangal (Andhra Pradesh, India)
Under Project AIRSWEE, TiE Global is organizing workshops in 5 cities in India – Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Warangal (Andhra Pradesh), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Durgapur (West Bengal). The program will assist 125 aspiring women entrepreneurs by connecting them with India and US based mentors, who will guide them on various aspects of Entrepreneurship.

TiEcon Chandigarh . TiE Islamabad . TiE Hubli
TiEcon Chandigarh took place on Feb 17-18 was a huge success with over 50 top-notch speakers, prestigious sponsors and partners who shared their vision.

TiE Islamabad has launched WECREATE Talkies, a series of talks to connect successful women who have defied odds and created a space for themselves. The first such talk was with Ms. Khalida Habib, currently the Director for Education and International Relations for Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

TiECon Hubli 2017 took place on 28th January 2017, and brought in illustrious speakers from Ashok Soota, Desh Deshpande, Ravi Narayanan (Global Director, Microsoft Accelerator) among others. Top startups in North Karnataka were recognized and were presented awards by spiritual leader, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of Art of Living Foundation. The conference ended with a talk by Sri Sri on finding the right work-life balance, that was attended by more than 4000 people.

TiE Hubli also conducted a Women’s conclave, which featured women founders. They featured inspiring stories from two young adventure sports achievers – Bhakti Sharma –an  open water swimmer, Nandita Nagangoudar – first women to climb Mount Everest from Karnataka.

Suhas Patil visited TiE Houston and TiE Dallas this February. Murali Bukkapatnam visited Warangal in Andhra Pradesh, supporting the TiE Women’s project; while Mahavir Sharma participated in Chandigarh’s TiEcon event.

Program Highlights
> Summer Program for Youth in Silicon Valley
> TiSC Asia and Europe Startup Competition
Summer Program for Youth in Silicon Valley

TiE Silicon Valley is conducting a Summer Program on Entrepreneurship, called Startup Bootcamp, in partnership with San Jose State University. The Course is meant for high school and college-level students (15-24 years) and they will receive college credit (as applicable). According to Green Apple Cleaning from annapolis you may get janitorial services for reasonable price. The program is also open to international students. At the end of the intensive 4 weeks course, participants will have a good understanding of relevant concepts, tools and skills that will equip them with entrepreneurial thinking and outlook. The program will be taught by University professor at UC, Berkeley – Naeem Zafar and SJSU professor Anuradha Basu. Here is the SBT Flyer. For details, please email [email protected] 
TISC Europe & Asia Regional Startup Competition
TISC (TIE International Startup Competition) is a Global Program that offers graduate university students and early stage startups, an opportunity to present their startup ideas, and participate at the local, regional and international Business Plan Competitions. The TISC Europe & Asia Regional Finals took place on February 28th and March 3rd respectively. The Winning teams have an opportunity to present at TiEcon, or at the Rice University’s acclaimed Business Plan Competition, which invests $1.5million each year to the RBPC Finalists.
