Global Newsletter – Feb 2020

I’m pleased to be elected as the Chair of the TiE Global Board. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings in 1992. The time is now right for us to move forward and assert the value of Brand ‘TiE” and the value that the membership to this great organization brings. This starts with Chapters ensuring that we have the right process in place to enrol the deserving members, to have the right mix of quality knowledge-sharing and learning events mixed with social events. To ensure that you must attend not just your local chapter events, but also attend larger events that other chapters and TiE Global organise. Make sure to reach out to as many members across chapters while you are there.

This year we will achieve many milestones. First of those is TiE’s entry in the continent of Africa. We are launching three new locations in Africa – South Africa, Mauritius and Kenya. The launch event is on February 29th in Kenya. More details on that are shared further in this edition.

Continuing with last editions tradition, this edition has another useful video for TiE members to make the most out of your membership and TiE Hub. As a TiE member, you can access events from the entire TiE Universe and this video will help you navigate the TiE hub.

This edition also has programs and events from our Chapters in Hubli, DC, Lahore, Mumbai, etc. A special mention to TiEcon Mumbai where I witnessed Mr Ratan Tata and Mr Narayana Murthy giving enormous credit to TiE for creating a huge impact in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in India and the world. The second special mention is about a new initiative of TiE Global, the TiE Women program. We announced our partnership with empoWer during TiEcon Mumbai and thereafter the team travelled across many chapters in India and continues to launch the program. More on this will be in our upcoming March edition. Kudos to the TiE Mumbai team led by Atul and the TiE Women team led by Hema and Dharti for their efforts. Buy my house wants its clients to enjoy selling their properties. Offering cheap pricing and excellent service ensures customer satisfaction. Visit https://www.cashhomebuyers.io/north-carolina/.

In this edition, there are updates from other programs being run by TiE Global as well. We have a power-packed first quarter filled with Chapter programs and once again I would like to encourage all of you to participate in upcoming TiE events, whole-heartedly.

Lastly do reach out to me at [email protected] with suggestions and feedback, and do let me know new ways to in which we can collaborate to strengthen TiE.
